What I remember most about Javier Senior is that he was an intelligent man who treated people with integrity and respect. He was kind, sweet and loving. He was a wise man of few words who lived by example. He found everlasting love in Cucha, his wife, who he loved and adored. He chose his friends carefully, and my father Ricardo was one of them. I remember Javier Senior playing Skipbo with my dad and uncle Loui, drinking scotch, telling jokes, and laughing. I can only imagine what they are all up to now.
It was an honor to have met Javier Senior. He has and will always live in my fondest memories. My condolence to his loving family.
