Obituary

Janet Mae Brick, 81, born September 16, 1932, passed away November 29, 2013. She was born in Watertown, WI and was a long time resident of Mission Viejo, CA since 1968.

Janet passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Janet is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gale; her 9 children, Peter, Mike, Steve, Kathy, Sue, David, Nancy, Daniel, and Joey; 23 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and her 2 sisters, Carol Rogina of Libertyville, IL and Donna Cepon of Joliet, IL.

Our Mom was a loving wife, dedicated mother, and the sweetest, most caring grandma and great grandma.

Our Mom’s never ending love and support for her own family extended to the families of the less fortunate. This was evidenced by her 12 years of volunteer work at South County Outreach, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Lake Forest, CA. This was truly her passion and she considered her fellow co-workers and families she served her second family.

Mom will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all.

  4. Although I didn’t really know Jan, I see Gale at church a lot and Gil knows Gale from the Knights. Steve coached my daughter, Ashley, for many years in soccer so I would like to send condolences to the whole family. I will keep Jan in my prayers.
