  1. Jim–You have been the best of friends. When we think about the people that have impacted our lives, and have been “true” friends, you are at the top of the list. We have such incredible memories with you—that first camping trip up to Mammoth, the fishing trips, and all our family get-togethers,—you are there!
Your memory will live through your family and friends forever. We love you and we love Francie, Robbie, and Michael.

Jim, you were a good mentor and always a good friend. Francie, I will always appreciate and remember Jim for his kindnesses to me. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family…

  3. Jim,

I close my eyes and think of all the wonderful memories I possess.
Your charming words and heart filled smile,
Your caring touch and unconditional love for your family.
I sit in stillness and hear your laughter,
My crush for Kelly and the jokes with my “future father-in-law.”
The countless memories we share, I will carry with me every day.

I close my eyes and remember our times together in the garage.
I would browse through your various movies and ask which were best,
From classics like Ferris Bueler’s Day off to scientific thrillers like the Abyss.
The echo of sports in the background,
Moments like this have left an imprint

I close my eyes and reminisce upon our sweet conversations,
How you would tell me you were proud of me,
Those sweet words I continue to grasp,
Your generosity extended through every aspect of your life

I close my eyes and smell your cologne,
My arms embrace you for a hug,
Always clean shaven and nicely dressed
Ready to welcome others into your home,
Drink a glass of wine and chat among friends.

I close my eyes and breathe slowly as I picture you here,
Remembering holidays as we gathered together,
My seat at the table had to be reserved beside you,
For the most interesting stories and jokes were yours.

I close my eyes and see your gleaming light throughout your children,
Such kind hearted and gentle young men.
To say I am privileged would be the least,
You are a better man than any I have encountered.

I close my eyes and say goodbye,
I may not be able to reach out and kiss you,
Call you and tell you I love you,
But I know you will always be with me and
our memories I cherish for eternity,..
    Love Nicole

You are in our hearts forever!

  4. We were all torn at the news. We are so sorry for your loss, but heartened by the end of the suffering. It is likely Jim has not stopped talking yet, he probably had plenty to say stored up and now he is getting a chance to pass it on. Most of it will be about how proud he is of the boys and what fine young men they are and about how much he loved all of you.

While we did not get to spend as much time with Jim and you as we would have liked, we will always treasure the time we did. We will remember the grace, elegance and humor with which Jim carried his burden and the support that you all had for him. He will truly be missed.

  5. Jim will always be with us.
