He was one of a kind. How many times has that been said? Always with a smile, a joke, and a warm endearing charm. We have all be lucky to have had you in our lives.

I was a student at Marco from 1979 – 1981. In 7th & 8th grade either everyone wanted Mr. Hollis to be his/her teacher or coach. I was lucky because I had him for both! Mr. Hollis was an icon at the school as he was loved by all. He always had a smile and had such a positive outlook on life. I have thought about him over the years, and I’m sorry to hear of his passing… He was a man who touched so many in such a thoughtful way, and he will be remembered always. Go Roadrunners!
