Obituary

Isabel C. McFarland, 91, passed away July 15th after a brief illness. A native Californian, Cathabel graduated from UCLA and August 17, 1940 married attorney Gordon L. McFarland. Cathabel lived for many years in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles where she raised her three children. Thirty-six years ago she and Gordon became early residents of Leisure World. Over the years she has enjoyed pursuing her life long passions of world travel, photography, crafts and reading.

Cathabel is survived by sons James of Gig Harbor, WA, Bruce of Trinidad, CA; and daughter Brenda of Olympia, WA; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held August 6th at Tulocay Cemetery, Napa, CA. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the ALS Association.
