Obituary
Iraj Ahmadi, born to Esmat Nikdel and Ahmad Ahmadi on December 5, 1936, passed away on November 5, 2010. A memorial ceremony to commemorate his life will be held on Tuesday, November 16 at 1:00 PM at O’Connor Mortuary 25301 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills, California 92653, 949 581-4300. Immediately following the ceremony, a funeral service will be held at El Toro Memorial Park 25751 Trabuco Road, Lake Forest, CA 92630. In place of flowers, Iraj has requested that friends and family members make monetary donations to the Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis http://www.firstgiving.com/irajahmadi. Your donations will help researchers better understand this insidious disease and will hopefully result in a cure that can spare loved ones from the grief that the Ahmadi family experienced throughout their father’s disease-ridden journey.

Sandy, Michael and Todd, I still remember what a terrific man Iraj was. Even though it has been 30 years since I visited your home, that week is still a treasured memory. My prayers are with you at this difficult time.

We enjoyed seeing Iraj whenever we had the pleasure at the Mission Viejo Hospital gym. Iraj was always smiling, friendly, and with a wonderful attitude about life. He will be greatly missed.

Uncle Iraj was kind ,great and generous.
He loved his family and we loved him as our big brother.
