Obituary
Henry G. Scott, 74, of Garden Grove passed away on February 5, 2012.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carol Scott as well as his four children and their spouses; Susan Scott, Karen Dillon and husband Michael, Robert Scott and wife Rose, Debbie Nininger and husband Scott; grandchildren Kristen and Kaela Dillon, Macey and Matthew Scott, Haley Nininger; step-granddaughter MaryAnn Tran. He was predeceased by his oldest son, Thomas Scott, father to grandchildren, Tyler Scott and step-granddaughter Nikki Tingle and also survived by brothers Alan and Larry Scott.
He had an avid love of his pet birds and dog and enjoyed going for car rides along the coast. He will be forever in our hearts as a wonderful husband, dad and grandpa.
The family would like to thank the ICU Nursing staff at Western Medical Center, Santa Ana for all of their support and efforts throughout this tough time. A special thanks to his Nephrologist, Dr. Pham for his perseverance, personal support and guidance to the family. Last but not least, a very special thanks to all of the family and friends who kept Henry and his family in their constant prayers during this time of need and continue to do so in the wake of their loss.

Mom Scott, Sue, Karen, Robert and Debbie,
I can still remember first meeting Dad Scott as if it were yesterday. While he would have liked us to think he was a big scary guy, he was just a teddy bear underneath…always teasing us about one thing or another. And always with a grin.
We so wish we could you be with you and your families as you celebrate his life. Please know that all of you are in our hearts and thoughts.

Grandpa i love you so much and i know this isnt the end. I will see you soon in heaven and you better be there to greet me because your the first person i want to see standing next to God. I know you up there right now with uncle Tom and great grandma and grandpa but leave room for all of us who will be joining you. I will never forget you, you have a special place in my heart<3 I cant thank you enough for all the memories you allowed me to remember and share with others as i grew up. Your the best grandpa anyone can ask for and even though i miss you so much i know your in no more paine and you up there in heaven living the life.
