Obituary

Causey, Harold Lawrence, 65, of Coto de Caza, died of esophageal cancer on April 16, 2009. Mr. Causey was born in Santa Ana California. In 1967, he began his professional career as a police officer for the city of Santa Ana. In 1976, Hal founded Causey Electric, Inc. in Irvine, California where he enjoyed 33 years in the commercial and industrial construction industry. He participated in the National Electrical Contractors Association, Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs.

He is survived by his wife, Gillen Gigi; his son, Sean Causey; his daughter Laurien McClue; and son-in-law Michael McClue.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest. Interment at El Toro Memorial Park in Lake Forest.

  1. Everyone at PD&A was saddened to hear about Hal’s passing. It was an honor and privilege to know and work with Hal. We know that he will be greatly missed by his family and everyone who knew him. We pray that God gives you the comfort, peace, strength to carry on during these difficult times.

  2. I only knew Hal for a short time, but it did not take much time around him to realize that he was a man of the utmost honesty and integrity, and I admired him deeply for that.

    This is a trying time…but you will realize that Hal is right here…alive in your thoughts and memories. What I remember most is his warm and friendly personality. He also had a youthful spirit and was full of energy.
