George Michael Nadeau
George M. Nadeau, 49, died unexpectedly September 19th, 2018, in Escondido, CA. He was born May 27th, 1969, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was a resident of Lake Forest for more than 30 years.
George graduated from El Toro High School, Class of 1987. Following graduation, he attended USC where he was a member of the Trojan Marching Band. He then transferred to SUNY at Purchase where he graduated in 1992 Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Fine Arts. In November 1996, he was presented with the prestigious Princess Grace Award by Isabella Rossellini.
George received his Master’s degree in Photographic Arts & Sciences from RIT in 1997. His career path continued in the graphic arts field. He most recently was employed as Manager of Product Development of trading cards at Cryptozoic Entertainment.
George is survived by his mother Hue (Tran) Nadeau; twin sister Jacqueline Brown and her husband Patrick; older sister, Jeanne Braun, her husband, Tony and their three daughters, Haley, Audrey and Leslie; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
His funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 28that Santiago de Compostela Catholic Church with burial at El Toro Memorial Park. A reception will follow at Santiago de Compostela Church.

George had a HUGE heart and was friends with anyone who knew him. His professionalism and sincerity were unmatched. He was always willing to help in any way he possibly could. He often went above and beyond to assist and to interact with all of us. He was such a happy and friendly man. A true professional and excellent in his craft. We spent many hours talking, emailing and interacting. I was fortunate to meet him in Las Vegas and he is just as friendly and jovial in person as he comes across online. Such a blessing. I pray for his family and all who knew him. George was a true inspiration to a lot of people. He will be, and is, greatly missed. 🙁 We love you George!

I had the pleasure of meeting George at the Outlander convention in Las Vegas a few months ago. He was so nice and took the time to interact with all of us fans, just as he did in our trading card groups on social media. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences to all of his family and friends. I’m so glad that his life touched mine, however briefly.
