I always loved Pat and Lorraine. As a small child I remember many great times with them. Every Christmas they would send over a 10 pound box of See’s Candy to my hone, we had quite a large family. They were like my California grandparents, since I moved here when I was 7 from the Midwest. Lorraine was strict on the outside but had a heart of gold. Whenever she would get after me for something, Pat always came to my rescue. “Leave her alone Lorraine”, he would say and then give me a smile or a treat . I used to play board games with them when I was a child. I have fond memories of both of them and I will miss Pat greatly. I hope they rest together well in heaven with each other at peace with the Lord.
I love you both,
Patricia (Steudle) Coleman

Dear Pat: Today I was told that you had left us. I am so sad. I so enjoyed watching you and Lilly on your daily walks. My neighbors and I loved your story of how Lilly came into your life and changed it…she was your angel. I remember how you would laugh and tell me that Lilly thought you are spending too much time chitchatting when you should continue with your walk as you two had other stops to make and people to see…you two were quite a pair!!!. You and Lorraine are together in heaven with our Lord. I shall always have fond memories of you.
With Love.
