Obituary

Eugene Anthony ‘Geno’ Stirone, 69, was born July 31st, 1941 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania and passed away May 16th, 2011 at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo Ca, after a long illness.

Geno was a sales rep for a variety of companies including 3m and Papercraft, he was national sales manager for Acco sales corporation and retired from the mortgage industry in 2008.

Geno served in the US Navy from 1959 to 1962 as a Communications Specialist.

Geno is survived by his loving son Vincent Stirone; brother James Laurie Stirone; sister Joanne Stirone; nephew Christopher Stirone; and niece Shannon Stirone.

A celebration of Geno’s life will be held Saturday May 21st, 2011 at 10 am at Saddleback Church, One Saddleback Plaza Lake Forest Ca. Burial to follow at El Toro Memorial Park, Lake Forest, Ca.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pacific Heart, Lung and Blood Institute at www.phlbi.org.

  1. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Geno’s friends and family during this difficult time. From the handful of times we got to spend with Geno, we loved hearing his stories and his unforgettable laugh. We are honored to have known him and to call him a friend.

  4. Geno was one of my best friends, meeting at Penn State. we became roommates for a while.
    I will miss his sincerity, his humor and most of all his friendship

  5. I am very sorry for the family’s loss. I had the pleasure of having Gino for a friend 35 years ago in Califorina. Through Steve Kish we kept in contact with each other. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers will be with him.
