Obituary

With his family surrounding him with love, our beloved husband, father, and GP, quietly passed away at sunset on July 16, 2013. Since his birth on August 3, 1943, he has enjoyed making memories with his family, especially his two grandchildren, Cade and Isabelle. After his retirement from the textile industry, he spent many relaxing days on the golf course trying to achieve the perfect swing. He also enjoyed traveling abroad with friends, and playing golf around the country.

You will be missed and forever in our hearts.
This is not “goodbye” but rather “until we meet again”.

Rest in Peace Ed/Dad/GP. We love you!

As his grandchildren were one of his greatest joys, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to their school:

Ed was a locker mate of mine at the club. Always had pleasant conversations with him. His calming personality always had an impact. We’re all a speck of sand in the beach of eternity. What matters is the influence you have on others while your here. Well done Ed. Our condolences to the family. May you be comforted by the fond memories you have of Ed. God Bless, John and Patty Pace

Ed was a wonderful mentor, a calming force, a brilliant product innovator, and a salesman that both the customer and the company loved; a rare combination. His smile, laugh, and insight will be missed. His impact on countless persons will live for generations. Our love and condolences to his family. Words cannot express our sorrow.

  5. Pam O'Toole says:

As I combed through the house looking for pictures from 30 years ago; I realized, that once again, Ed was making me clean up and get organized! Only this time it was not the Allied Fibers’ product room!
(I am still looking for these pictures, and will bring them Wednesday, if found.)
I have however, found memories of life; Christmas pictures of his adorable children and grand children, and prayer cards. I know we will maintain our connection for life and bond closer, as we look to the future sharing family time with Delores, Cheryl, and Sharon. God Bless All of you. Our hearts and prayers are with you.
    With Love,
    Pam, Terry, and Maddie O’Toole
