Obituary

DWIGHT CRUZ RAMOS passed on to eternal life surrounded by all those who loved him deeply, on August 5, 2020 in Irvine, CA.

Dwight was a devout Catholic, whose strong faith helped him through his long battle with lung cancer. He lived life to the fullest, playing his favorite sport – golf, and fulfilling his passion for music by singing for our Lord as a member of the San Francisco Solano Choir and St John Neumann Choir. His unwavering faith was tested when he lost his wife, his first love, in August 2011. It was a devastating blow, but he gave love a second chance when he remarried in March 2017, after being diagnosed with cancer. He willed himself to live to see his only daughter through her marriage last August 1, 2020. He passed peacefully and happy on August 5, knowing that his beloved daughter is in the good, loving hands of her husband.

Dwight is survived by his wife Neddy Ramos, daughter Karina Ramos-Moreau, son-in-law Mike Moreau, stepdaughter Paulina Daquiz, sisters Noemi Tan and Nieva Bautista, and brother Dante Ramos. A Funeral Mass will take place Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 8:00am at St John Neumann Catholic Church, 5101 Alton Pkwy, Irvine, CA. Burial will follow at Ascension Cemetery, 24754 Trabuco Rd, Lake Forest, CA.

    Until we all meet again

  2. Funny and witty, smart and friendly , very kind and admirably down -to-earth. That is how I will remember you Dwight. Journey was blessed for those who have crossed your path . Rest up in peace in the Lord’s refuge .

  3. Dwight truly had his priorities right: God, family, friends, and golf. He was also quite modest by not showing off his amazing musical talent of playing the piano by ear ” even to his high school classmates like me. Heaven just added another awesome guy, Dwight, to its roster.
