   I had the privilege of working with Duane from 2001 to 2006 at Rockwell Collins. During that time, Duane taught me a lot about electronics manufacturing, literature, and life, especially during the long drives between Santa Margarita and Mexicali, and the flights from Orange County to Kirkland, Washington. Duane always kept a good perspective on life and was considerate of the viewpoints of those around him, especially those who worked for him in the factory. He’ll be missed greatly by all those that had the pleasure of his acquaintance. My sincere condolences to Lisa, Ian and Cammie.

   I worked for Duane at Sony. He was a great boss and a fair and kind man. Respected by all that worked there. We shared the love of boating. Long ago Duane worked for my husband Gene Miller and Gene has nothing but great things to say about Duane. He will be missed by all that knew him.
