Obituary

Douglas Charles Wells, 76, was born September 18, 1935 in Los Angeles, CA and went Home to be with his Lord on September 30, 2011 in Mission Viejo, CA.

Doug achieved Eagle Scout in his youth, and as an adult, faithfully served his Community, employed with the Sheriff’sDepartment at James A. Musick Honor Farm, his Church families at Faith Lutheran in Capistrano Beach, CA, at Mount of Olives Lutheran in Mission Viejo, CA, and at Abiding Savior Lutheran in Lake Forest, CA. Many years were spent at Concordia University serving the faculty, staff, and students, in Irvine, CA. Facilities Manager for most of his working career, Douglas also served his Country in the US Army, US Air National Guard and was discharged from duty in 1965 after his service in the US Air Force.

Doug is survived by his wife Carole; daughters Julie Wells McRee, Christa Wells Miller and her husband Jeff; son William Douglas Wells and his wife Amy; and grandchildren Jacob Douglas McRee, Caleb Miller, Regan Miller, Aiden Wells and Liam Wells.
