  1. Sarah,
Diane was like a sister to me when I worked in LA in three restaurants that we were part of the opening team of chefs and we were chefs for :A celebrations catering firm. We catered for the Getty Museum and for sports illustrated Magazine covering the 1984 Olympics. I realized when I met her that she was such a positive creative spirit. I will never forget the time that I brought Julia Child into the kitchen to meet Diane. Diane was overjoyed and always reminded me of this important moment. Hard working, passionate about her love for the culinary arts. I remember the day she got married. A great day. Over the years we never stopped talking or getting together when we could since my life brought me back to the SF bay area. I rejoiced in her stories about her children’s accomplishments. Diane would make sacrifices to ensure that her two babies had what they needed. I always have considered Diane to be my best friend here in California. Just a wonderful connection. Will miss her a lot.

  2. 525,600minutes,525,600moments so dear. How do you measure a year? In daylights,in sunsets,in midnights,in inches,in miles,in laughter,in strife. How do you measure a year in the life? How about love? Measure in love.Seasons of love.
525,600 minutes. How can you measure the life of Diane?
In truths that she learned,or in times that she cried. In bridges she burned.or the way that she died.
This story will never end.Let’s celebrate, remember a year in the life of Diane.
    Remember the love.Measures in love.
    Seasons of love.
You called me your angel, yet you were mine.
    Forever and always,be at peace.

    Ashley

My Dear Diane, I love you. You are my friend and confident, shoulder to cry on, and personal jester to make the tears subside. I have been told that people knew who I was talking too on the phone, by the sound of my laughter. You have always been and will continue to be my bright spot of happiness, my friend, my sister … My Boo.

  4. Diane was a loving, caring and deeply respected lady. She is missed.
