Obituary

Denise lost her battle with cancer on June 27, 2018. Her fight came and went quickly and she is now resting peacefully with her Lord in Heaven.
Dee is a devoted wife to Jim Vollendorff, loving mother to Michelle Emerson and Jolene Godoy and their spouses, cherished grandmother to Tyler, Trista, Trevor and Aaron Emerson, Madison Adams and Ethan Godoy. She will also be missed by her mother, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, step-children/ grandchildren and many friends. Her family was the center of her universe.
Dee was involved in the Senior community and worked at Vivante, where she was surrounded by coworkers, friends and residence who embraced her warmth and compassionate demeanor.
Denise was a happy person with an outgoing personality and did not want people to be sad when remembering her. She loved to dance, and we know she is at peace now and dancing around in her new mansion in Heaven. She is in a better place and knew she would be. She would want you all to smile and remember her life as a legacy.
