   Priscilla, Heather and Sarah,
   My heart goes out to you for such a sudden loss. Dave was indeed a genuine, caring and generous person. I met him at Purdue, shared some laughs and was fortunate to cross paths in Orange County in the 80’s. He will be sorely missed but lives on in our hearts and minds. Condolences from my entire family.

   I am so sorry for your loss. As a ‘new guy’ at work, he was always supportive and kind to me and always had time to talk. Please know that he made a positive impact on my life and I know I wasn’t the only one. For me, he modelled the way.

   We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our dear friend and neighbor, Dave. We will treasure the memories of the times we shared together. He was such a great man, who will truly be missed, but live on in our hearts forever ~

   I can’t imagine your heartbreak. Dave was one of the great ones. He made others feel valued and appreciated for their work, shared good advice, and was able to find the humor in most things. He gave so much of himself and will be missed by many. My heart goes out to you, both now and during the days ahead.
