Darin David Novak
Darin David Novak, 49, of Laguna Niguel, CA, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 in Dana Point, CA. The beautiful ocean and beaches brought him to Orange County, where he was a resident for many years.
He was in the field of Security Protection for the past twenty-nine years. Darin was of Christian faith, a person who liked helping people, was always kind to others and had a good heart. Enjoying his social life with his many friends, traveling, experiencing new places and cultures. Darin was a very generous man in his own ways. He was always there to assist a person in time of need. He had a passion for fine dining, trying new cuisine, and appreciated the talents chefs had to offer.
He is survived by his mother, Irene Bryson of Laguna Niguel; son, Dalton Novak of Spokane, WA; uncle, Bill Bryson of Somonauk, IL; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He will be forever missed by his loving Mother, Son, Family and Friends.
A Memorial Celebration will be held after the Coronavirus Quarantine is lifted. A notice will be posted on the O’Connor Mortuary website (www.oconnormortuary.com) with all the details. I knew you for the better part of 30 years, and you hold a special place in my heart. You have always been a great friend to me and shown me great respect…. you have always been a great provider and protector to those you loved. Your fierce love for you mom and the way that you admired her strengths and sacrifices is one of your most admirable qualities and one of the biggest examples of your tough guy exterior with a deep and compassionate interior. You loved beauty and had a love for all fine things, you took pride in keeping things pristine and orderly. (I always wished I was that organized!) you will be missed more than words can say, you were bigger than life and that leaves a void. Rest In Peace my friend

Darin, I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to know you! You were truly a good person with a huge heart, always there to help anyone out. You acted like a tough guy but you were really just a Teddy Bear . I promise I will make sure your mom is ok.. I will miss you dearly and I hope you at peace.
