Obituary
Charles A. Tierney, 84, of Mission Viejo, CA died January 7, 2010. He is survived by his son, Sean Tierney; his daughter, Shannon Pillar; his siblings, Kathleen Cusick, Patrick Tierney, Mary Jennings, Vincent Tierney, Bridie Shannon, Dympna Tuffy, Paul Tierney, Anna Brady and Eileen Gavin; and his 5 grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 am on Monday, January 11, 2010 at St. Kilian Church in Mission Viejo, CA. Interment at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery in San Jacinto, CA.

I have such wonderful memories of Uncles Charles. It is so sad that he is gone, but I know how happy he must be to be with Aunt Martha again.

Fond memories of our visits with him and his visits to Ireland. Pleasant, cheerful company and a great storyteller. We are consoled by the knowledge that he died peacefully surrounded by loved ones and having received the last sacraments. May he rest in peace.
