Carolyn was a very beautiful woman in so many ways. She was a very loving wife and mother and an incredible educator, dedicated to bettering the lives of countless students at the Lutheran School where she had been the principal. We have lived close to Carolyn for over 30 years and she and her family have been an inspirational presence on our block. Carolyn will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her and our sympathies and prayers go out to
her family!

Carolyn was the delight of her parents, Herman and Lyla Stroebel. Through the years she kept us informed with her insightful and hilarious Christmas poems. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was always fun to be around. Her Christian faith and witness to countless students and teachers will be her legacy. Thank God for her life of love and service.

I remember Carolyn as always having a positive and upbeat personality. We shared a love of children and education. She and Lynn were always relaxed and fun to be around. I’m praying for comfort for her family and friends from the only true comforter we have- our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
