Carl and I met in the early 1980’s when we worked together at Price Waterhouse. He was a great friend, a gifted athlete, a very smart and effective businessman and had a heart for helping and caring for others. He was a friend you could always trust and rely upon. As we got other jobs, got married, started families and moved to new areas, we didn’t keep in contact much for about 20 years, but we did reconnect a few years ago and got together a couple of times. It was great to see him again and he was still the same wonderful person. I was also thrilled to learn that he had become a Christian and attended Mariner’s Church.
My sincere condolences to his family and friends. I pray that God blesses you and gives you His peace as you deal with the loss of Carl.
Carl was a friend and a roomate when we were in college and he was getting his masters degree. His friendship and leadership helping me on the baseball field for the crazy Irvine Redmen team gave me memories I still think about. He was a leader, coach, friend, and loved his family. It was a always special to see him through the years and loved his laughter and smile with that special look in his eyes. He has shocked all of us with his calling to God and I will see him in heaven. I pray for his family and friends during this most trying times. You will always be in my heart. God Bless
It’s sad and shocking to hear the passing of Carl. I think every girl had
a crush on him in high school…. Including me!
We managed to stay in touch after all these years which
made me happy. I will miss his smile, his friendship and his “big hug”
he’d greet me with. We had a great talk last time I saw him. He had
gone camping with his dear friend Rod and talked of old times growing up. He
loved that weekend he said and I loved hearing about it. 🙂 He always would
start or end with what his daughter was up to. A very proud dad! Rest in
Peace my friend…
My dearest sympathies to Morgan, Sara and the family…
