  1. I go way back with both Barb and Paul in Clipped Wings. My husband and I visited them in Laguna Hills when we also lived there. Barb attended meetings/luncheons when she could and I last saw her a couple of years ago for lunch. Wonderful couple and how I remember Paul playing the piano so beautifully at a CW Christmas party in our home. I will be at St. Nicholas on Monday morning to pay my respects to a lovely lady and friend.

  2. Barbara spent many years with our Clipped Wings group in Orange County. She always helped out cheerfully and frequently. We really missed her when she moved away. We have fond memories of our times together.

  4. Pat Hunter says:

Barbara was my boss and mentor at UC Irvine. When she retired she recommended me to take her position in the Humanities Graduate Deans Office. She was a gracious and wonderful boss and person. We shared many laughs and lunches when we worked together. I will miss her friendship.

  5. I remember the first time I meet Barbra, she was pinning flight attendant wings on Kathy at our graduation ceremony from flight attendant training. Later on I was in Kathy’s wedding and was fortunate enough to meet the entire LaChance clan. And Vahid who ended up being my husband and father to our children. I called Barbra when Vahid first asked me out to make sure he was ok to date. If she hadn’t of given her stamp of approval I probably would never have gone out with him. Thanks to Barbra’s glowing stamp of approval I did. Thank you Barbra and the entire Lachance family.
