Barbara and I lived across the street from one another as children and I remember everything about those years because we played so creatively—reneacting the Island of the Blue Dolphins, choreographing water ballets, drawing our own paper dolls. She was my oldest friend. We lost touch for several years, but reconnected about ten years ago and found we still shared common interests…and dreams. During the time since Katrina, her spirit and sense of humor was especially evident. Her last e-mail, last week, was about signing a petition in support of a bill to help breast cancer patients. Over the years, I recieved dozens of such selfless requests as well as inspirational
messages and clips. She cared about others and made a difference. I will never forget the thoughtful child she was or the gracious woman she became.

To the family of Barbara Caruso,
My family and I are sorry to hear about the loss of your dear loved one. Although we don’t know you personally, we understand that the loss of a loved one, can take its toll on your emotional, mental, physical, and most importantly, your spiritual health. The Bible tell us to take comfort. John 5:28,29 tells us that, ‘All those in the memorial tombs will hear my voice and come out.’ This lets us know that our Creator has made it possible for us to see our loved ones again. Would you like to know what is required of us in order to be there? Then please feel free to contact me for free Bible based literature.
Sincerely,
Autumn Prince
