Rest in peace tito Alex. You are in a place where there’s no more pain, no more suffering and no more worries, because everything will just be happiness and forever. Sleep tight tito and hug daddy for me! You will be missed!

  3. Tito Alex… For a long time, you were a puzzle to me. You were so obvious that you were hidden. You wore you feelings like a mask. You either liked someone or you didn’t. It was spending more time with you when Dad was sick when I got to know you better. You loved life! Not just existing, but pure living. It is a shame that all you brothers are gone now because, I bet it would be fun to eavesdrop on your conversations about all the foolishness you got into when you were young. Then, many years later, came maturity. It’s a good thing, too, or else we the young ones would have never seen much of any of you, the Labayen Boys. Maturity is where I began to appreciate you, Tito. I saw how dedicated you were to family–through your dedication to Dad. You were adamant in ensuring that his quality of life in the end was lifted. I began to understand your passion, your all or nothing love. We who experienced your all saw that you really had a heart of a servant. No matter what it took, you gave for the family, to preserve the family. Serving and making sure that the family is sustained made you happy. You had big dreams for yourself and your family. Why? Because you wanted the best for them, be they your children or your nieces and nephews. Tito Alex, we will miss your significance. You certainly were far from ordinary. I always loved your smile because, when you smiled, your whole body smiled, as if you were enjoying a most delicious entrée. It is hard to believe that you are gone. Personality as big as yours is going to be missed by many… me included. Enjoy your heavenly journey. Hug Mom and Dad for my family and me. Love you, Tito Alex. Thank you for being you. Requiescat in pace.

Terry, Shiela and the rest of the family,

We are sending our love and deepest sympathy for Alex’s departure from earth. But it is with joy to know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I thank God for His comfort for you.

Tito Gene, Tita Honeybee, Michelle, Rein, Jay, and Girlie.
