Obituary

Albert Abraham, 87, was born November 9, 1922 in Central Falls, Rhode Island and passed away April 2, 2010 in Mission Viejo, CA.

A retired Foodservice Manager and U.S. Navy Veteran, Albert is lovingly survived by his caring and devoted wife of 57 wonderful years, Mae My Angel; son Richard Moses Abraham; daughters Kathy Mae Baleanu, Cheryl Ann Abraham and Lisa Darlene Abraham; sisters Rose Sweeting, Sue McLaughlin and Joan Abraham; granddaughters Alison Overall, Chantel Nelson and Alexis Abraham; great-granddaughters Lexxus Nelson, Imani Nelson and Emily Overall. As a mapmaker in the U.S. Navy, Albert received several commendations for Extreme Meritorious Service performed in support of military operations during World War II. His unwavering example will be dearly missed. It’s too soon to say goodbye… we love you and will miss you Dad!

Albert was a devoted member of Mission Viejo Christian Church. Visitation will be Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 7:00-9:00pm at O’Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Pkwy, Laguna Hills, CA. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 16, 2010 at 10:00am at O’Connor Mortuary. Burial to follow at Riverside National Cemetery.   1. I have fond memories of going to your house during high school. Your bright smile always welcomed me. Throughout the years that have followed, it’s always been a pleasure to see you at various family functions. You will be missed. My sincere condolence to the Abraham family who are very special to me.
