Rest in peace my beautiful auntie Dell. We love you and will miss you so much.

  2. Adele, my life-long best friend, confidant, and soul sister, you were my go-to pal for advice, to share special moments, or to just chat. I miss our morning check-in’s over coffee. We spoke almost every morning and talked for over an hour each time. You would end by saying:”Time to go and start my happy day!” and “Love You!”
From our first meeting in 1974 at Miss Susan’s Dance Studio we became instant friends, and went on to share some amazing experiences. You were an outstanding Hostess. Each time I would come out to California for a visit, you would have a fun-filled itinerary with new favorite places to go. When I brought my friends out to California, you were always the gracious hostess. Even though you had to work at times, you made sure we had fun things to do until you could join us. You truly were the “Life of the Party!” I am so grateful to have spent your Birthday with you and Linda at the Montage last year. Thanks to Shanon’s generous offer to stay at her house, we were together constantly that week. Thank you, Shanon. I will forever treasure those precious moments.
Your diagnosis sixteen months ago was devastating, but you faced it in a brave and focused way. You chose your path, and managed your crisis on your own terms, never once speaking of blame or regret, and always hoping for a miracle. We all prayed for that miracle right along with you.
I will miss your smiling eyes, your little chuckle at the end of each sentence, your loving heart, but most of all your enduring friendship. Till we meet again, I will hold you in my heart. Love You, Pam
