with Dr. Bill Hoy
Perhaps the most important feature of people who proceed well through their experience with loss is meaningful social support in their loss. Despite the ever-present reality of social media, it seems people are more personally disconnected than ever before. Purposeful presence pushes back against that disconnection to say, “I am here. I see you. I want to hear your story. I am not going anywhere.” Join us as we learn both the importance of this kind of social support and practical strategies for living this out as we support one another in life’s challenges.
