“Howdy Doody!” That’s what I’ll miss a lot. Always spunky and very sweet to my sister and me. She always knew how to handle us girls when we got a little too rowdy. I love you Great Grandma Verna. I’ll see you again someday 🙂

Verna, my dear, sweet mother-in-law was beautiful inside and out. God rest her soul.

I will always remember our extraordinary family holidays together…all of us grand kids running around like wild Indians, my grandma Marie, Aunt Mary, Uncle Steve, Aunt Verna and Uncle Axel, Mary and Mike Bayard all laughing at the mayhem. Borsht, vereniki, holupchi, pickled beets. We never knew just how extraordinarily lucky we were to have such an incredible family….Aunt Verna, we love you and miss you deeply…
