Rest in peace, Vanessa, my coach and friend. I will never forget you, you gave me the opportunity to continue playing soccer and made me feel so welcomed to UCR. You are a role model to everyone! I miss you so much, my thoughts and prayers are with you and all your loved ones. You are such an amazing individual. Your inspiration, talent, strength, and passion is what gave everyone courage on the team to do their best, not just in soccer, but everything in general. I will never forget that. I remember you telling me freshman year when you studied abroad in Spain. Ever since you told me, I remember saying to myself I have to study abroad. Sending all my love from Madrid, I love you Vanessa and will never forget you ♥ you will forever be missed!
