Standard uniform for Steve on Friday nights was his Seahawks jersey. RIP my friend.

Steve was a great friend, teammate and fellow poker player. I was lucky to be able to play softball with him and most recently spend time around the poker table. Steve was a regular in our Monday night poker game. We were just around the table several weeks ago wishing him the best. It’s hard to believe he’s gone. To Steve’s family all of us that knew him are very sorry for your loss. RIP!

To all of Steve Ozga’s family and his friends and teammates in California – we here in Albany, NY were very saddened to learn of the passing of our good friend and teammate, Stevie O. The boys of Martel’s softball team gathered tonight to toast him and remember an excellent ballplayer, a great teammate and better friend. RIP Stevie O., for the Seahawks have finally won a Super Bowl. We will miss you and remember you always.

Steve was an incredible friend and coworker , always willing to lend a hand inside and out if work . My 2 favorite memories.. The day of my wedding day, you kept telling me how beautiful I looked…and the Angels game we took my little brother too… I will miss you my friend.. I should have kept in touch better….

My confidant, my bestfriend, my partner.
He was my strongest support, my guide so many times… anytime. If I try to pick up randomly a great memory on my mind he was there with a big “mocking” grin.
Stev-o have many qualities: Selflearner, hardworker, great teacher, wiseass in math and very good poker player but the one I loved was when he used extrapatience with me when I get stubborn or I want to go my way.
So, here we are, we get caught by life/destiny in the middle of plans… a flight we didn’t catch on time. A big gap in between wich any reservation can’t fix.
He always try to keep me happy, specially in my blue moments so I will try to keep it together and just say: I’m going to miss you a lot, rest in peace my beloved Stev-o.
