Ricky is survived by his children, Ricardo D. and Paula M. Vivas, who were the most important thing is his life. He is also survived by his siblings Jose (Tino) and Lucy Vivas de Casis.
He leaves behind a countless number of long-life friends, who will always remember his determined spirit and his generous heart.
He was always successful in any sport he played, and you could find him surfing the local waves, or playing soccer at the field, especially coaching his children Ricardo and Paula and their teams.
His funeral services will be held privately at O’Connor Mortuary on April 21, 2020.

Ricardo was a respected and beloved modeler and friend to his co-workers and clients. He always looked for solutions and seemed overjoyed when he was able discover why something wasn’t working and how to fix it. I am truly going to miss working with him – his wealth of ideas, energy, persistence, excellence and support. His commitment to his co-workers and projects while bravely fighting what has been a very long and hard battle is an inspiration to me and many others. Rest in peace Ricardo.
