Dear Phil,
I wish I could have known you longer. During our brief friendship I believe we experienced more human emotions than most friendships experience in a lifetime. Even though at times you acted like such a tough guy spilling over with confidence, I think only those people closest to you knew how much of a softy you really were, almost to a fault. You were driven and passionate about many things in your life. I was always impressed of what you accomplished in your life and am gravely disappointed that you are no longer with us to dazzle those around you with your wit, passion and ambition. I choose to remember the great times we had at your home with your family, of which you spoke of so often. I’ll also remember those times when I felt helpless in those times of need when all I could really do is just be your friend. I’m sure everyone that you have touched wishes they could have done more, myself included. I’d like to believe that you really knew that in your heart. I’ll miss you Mr. Phil.
Rick
