Mike and I went to grade school at West Goshen
The memory that stands out the most is the day we went a few blocks away to look at a green 1936 Buick that an old gentlemen wanted to sell. Was Mike ever excited and just could hardly wait to own this vehicle. Trying it out was really fun. The brake and clutch were fastened together for the old fellow who had to use both feet to brake or clutch. So 1/2 way down and the clutch worked and Mike could shift gears. Push it a little farther and the brakes went on. He soon owned the car and we spent a lot of time cleaning the oxidation off the paint and putting quite a few coats of wax on.

I count myself among the very fortunate to have had the privelege of working with Mike. Mike was one of the sweetest, kindest souls I have had the honor of knowing. My heart oges out to the family for this terrible loss, but know what has been said, he leaves behind a legacy of kindness, genuine love for people, and integrity. God bless the family left behind.
