Obituary

Michael was our dear son, brother, uncle, and friend who was loved by all who met him. He will be missed because his genius, wit, smile, and laughter brightened the lives of us all.
He loved the law and was so proud to be a lawyer.
He loved being an uncle, and all the kids loved “Uncle Mikey.”

Michael embraced challenges and overcame them. He lived with purpose.
Michael was persistent and loved uncovering answers to questions. His energy was boundless.
Within a few hours, and without any clear reason, his life was cut short on December 16, 2019.
The world is a lesser place without Michael. His spirit lives on and we can still feel the warmth he brought to his family and friends.

We will miss him, but we are certain we will meet again and warmly embrace him.

  1. Mark,

You are a good man, and a good friend.

There is no pain worse than loosing a child; I wish I knew a way to help. But I don’t. So I’ll just offer my thoughts and prayers for your peace, as you gather loved ones around you. And try to move forward.

    Richard

  2. Dear Mark and family,
We were saddened to hear of your Michael’s passing and are praying for you to receive the comfort and peace that will help you get through this difficult time. We have been reminded that sorrow is the price we pay for the joy of knowing those who pass before us. Remember that joy as you remember that you will be together again. Sending prayers and much love to all of you.
    Steve and April Soffe

  3. Dear Mark,

I was very sad to hear of your loss. I am thinking of you and wishing you comfort. I hope that you will treat yourself with great kindness in the coming weeks.

  4. My daughter is Erica Hutter and we have very fond memories of Michael at our house during his high school days. Recently every now and then we’d see him at the gym and he always had a pleasant smile and time to say hello. We can’t imagine the heartache your family is going through right now. Please accept our condolences and prayers.

  5. To lose a child at any age is unbearable, and yet it must be borne. Our hearts break for those left behind, with a prayer that all who loved and needed him will find comfort.

    1. “Thanks” is a weak word for how I feel. Diminished by my loss because it overshadows over any loss I have felt, all I can say is “Thank you for your kindness and love. I need your love and kindness. We all need to share it.”
