Lon Angle, 46, of Lake Forest, CA quietly passed away on July 20th with his family and close friends surrounding him with love. He was born in McConnellsburg, PA, graduated from James Buchanan High School in 1985, and enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps where he proudly served for 12 years. He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan where he met the love of his life, Michiko. Lon was the grill master and a passionate Steelers fan. He was known for his big heart and was an incredibly loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife Michiko, son Jeremy, daughters Ashly and Katelynn, sisters Nikki and Marci, father Joe, and grandmother Betty. You will be always and forever in our hearts.
The family will accept visitors on Wednesday, July 24th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at O’Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Pkwy, Laguna Hills 92653. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 25th at Orange Coast Church, 77 Post, Irvine 92618.

I was very sad to hear of Lon’s passing. My heart goes out to all of his family. Lon and I were very close before he left for the military. I used to joke with him that he would go off, marry, and have kids, and our crazy days would be gone. That is exactly what happened but Lon always remained a cherished friend in my heart.
