Deon, Larry was a good friend that I knew from the Elks and The November 10th Association. I will miss him.

He left us quietly,
His thoughts unknown,
But left us a memory,
We are proud to own;
So treasure him Lord,
In Your garden of rest,
For when on earth,
He was one of the best.
I will always remember Larry who was crazy in love with my sister Deon. He was a devoted husband and good friend to the family. Larry would drop everything if someone needed his help for anything. Larry was very proud to be a Marine and loved to tell us stories of his days in the Corps. Larry never hesitated to have a joke to share “°Ã¢”šÂ¬” even though some were a little “°Ã¢”šÂ¬Ã…”dry”°Ã¢”šÂ¬Â you could tell he enjoyed making people smile. Larry left us way too soon and will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered.
His life earnest, his actions kind,
A willing hand, an active mind,
Anxious to please, loath to offend,
A loving brother-in-law and faithful friend

I am thankful that Larry and Deon had so many years together, since they shared such an unforgettable love and life together. Larry was honored well in the service, as I see from the preparations, and he was a man that deserved only the best. Deon, know that you have many family and friends around, that send our thoughts and prayers. We hope to see you soon. Fondly,
