Justine and I became fast friends about 50-years ago when we sat next to each other while working at Rockwell International and found out each of us was from the West Side of Cleveland, Ohio. We found we enjoyed many of the same foods and traditions. She was an excellent shopper and taught me how to shop on our lunch hour and bring a cooler in the car for anything that required refrigeration until getting home. This trick saved stops on the way home at night! Our husbands became good friends and we would spend time together in Palm Springs and Las Vegas. Justine was also my daughter Deena’s godmother. Even though she moved to Fallbrook, we still stayed in touch. Bart and I are so happy we had lunch with Justine and Paul in October on a quick trip to San Diego. I miss you buddy and will raise a glass of wine remembering our times together.

My Aunt Justine was funny, loving, sweet and kind, She was also my godmother. I will miss her and I have already made green jello with shaved carrots, in her honor. Heaven is a sweeter place.

My Sweet Aunt Justine!! Such fond and fun memories I have of you. Anytime we came to visit you were always taking pictures!! You were always making a wonderful meal, but never ate!!! And I will never forget the lime Jell-O with carrots. We have talked about that to this day. You were loving, caring and always made everyone feel welcome. Thank you for your calls and visits to Mom and Dad (your brother) when they were both ill. Your kindness and love was outstanding. I will miss you and the time we spent together, emails and calls in the last few years. May you rest in God’s peace and bring joy and laughter to the heavenly skies I love you.

I have so many fond memories of when Grandma Justine came to visit, or when we would travel to spend time with her and Grandpa Paul. She was always the life of the party and made everyone feel included and welcome. Even after my parents divorce, Justine continued making my mother feel loved and thought of, this was just the kind of person she was; always so kind and thoughtful to everyone. I love and miss you Grandma. <3
