Obituary
And God said ‘I know you are hurting
I see you have suffered loss
You lost your child to cancer
Mine died upon the cross’
Justin’s battle with cancer came to an end on September 2, 2011. His body may have failed him; his mind and spirit did not.
In lieu of flowers the Young family requests donations be made to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County CHOC. Please click on the Charities link on the left side of this page for a direct link to the CHOC donation page.

A ship sails with my loved one, I stand watching til he fades on the horizon, someone at my side says he is gone. Gone where? Gone from my sight, that is all. When from my sight he is gone there are others who are watching him coming over their horizan and other voices gladly shout THERE HE IS!!
Love you all and so sorry for you pain and loss.

“They that love beyond the world, cannot be separated. Death cannot kill what never dies. Nor can Spirits ever be divided that love and live in the same Divine Principle; the Root and Record of their Friendship. Death is but crossing the world, as Friends to the seas; they live in one another still.”
Author: William Penn “Fruits of Solitude”
I did not know Justin, but have children near the same age and can not imagine the pain you are feeling at such a great loss. Please take comfort from the words above that in some way we all live on through those that we leave behind.

Mike and Doral our sincere sympathy at the loss of Justin. Sometimes life doesn’t seem very fair; how fortunate we all are that our Lord will grant us a measure of peace when such sad things happen. Love, Dick and Mary Jane

It’s always difficult to lose a loved one but when it is someone so young it seems even worse. Condolenses and prayers for his family and friends.
