Obituary
Grover C. Brown passed away peacefully at his home in Dana Point on March 4, 2011. Born February 5, 1929 in Anoka, Minnesota, Grover graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1952 after serving in the U.S. Navy for several years with honorable discharge. After a successful 35-year career with Farmers Insurance, he enjoyed a long retirement of golfing, traveling and the company of his family and many friends.
Grover was predeceased by his first wife of 24 years, Helen, in 1975. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Barbie, daughters Chris Poirier Len and Lisa Galer, and stepdaughters Karyl Wigington Bill and Kristy Frudenfeld. Grover is also survived by his brother Edwin G. Brown, as well as six grandchildren.
