Dear Sharon,
I was so sorry for you when I was told of Gary’s passing. He was a friend of mine that I met on Kite Hill where we both flew our R/C airplanes.
Gary was always fun to be with and he loved to
hang out with us on the hill and fly his plane.
I will miss him and wish I could have known him better.
Yours truly,
Mark Blumenfeld

Dear Sharon, my heart breaks over the loss of Gary. I am so sorry. Please know that Tony and I are here for you whenever you need us. Call me: we’ll walk, we’ll Jazzercise, we’ll have bagels. Love, Sharon

My favorite Gary quotes:
“Where’s the lobster?” and
“I can’t talk you. You have a genius IQ.”

Sharon,
I was honored to receive notice of Gary’s memorial. I wish so much I could have been there, but it wasn’t possible. I’m so, so glad I had the chance to meet him, it was such a pleasure! What a character! I will keep praying for you as you learn to cope without him. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be. Please know that I would love to spend time with you any time you are available, and I would love to do anything you think of that would help. I love you, Liz
