Emery, I’m so sorry for your loss. I didn’t know Brian very well, but I know how he made you feel. I will try my best to go to the funeral. Know you are loved and call any time. Heather West

To my friend, Fitz: You were someone I will always look up to for so many reasons. Your integrity, wisdom, compassion, empathy, and of course, your one-of-a-kind humor. It was always a treat to hang out with you and an honor to get to be your friend. I’ll never forget you taking me fishing off the coast of Dana Point and what you said about how “this was your happiness. How the open ocean gave you a sense of peace.” Know that Emery and Ireland are always just a phone call away…and that they will be OK. Love you, Fitz. You’ll always be remembered as a great friend and role model. Rest in peace.

To Emery and Ireland,
I only met Brian one time in person but saw so many wonderful smiling pictures of your family together living life to the fullest. I am so glad you had that and so sorry Brian had to leave so soon.
My prayers are with you and any support I can give is yours. With love, Susie
