Obituary
ALAN DEAN CLOW, born June 16, 1956 in Springfield, Massachusetts. Passed away tragically on February 21, 2018 in Lake Forest, California. He was always known by all three names or his initials ADC. He had the largest smile and hardiest laugh. He was a man of service his entire life. He served 3 years in the US ARMY, receiving an honorable discharge and recognition; 6 years as a law enforcement officer; a Private Investigator and the last 22 years as an Investigator for the Orange County Public Defender’s Office. He served as the Vice President on the Orange County Employees Association’s Board of Directors and was passionate about helping all people. He loved motorcycles, skiing, cigars, traveling, golfing, the river and the L.A. Chargers. Mostly he loved being with friends, laughing and telling “his” stories. He loved his dogs, and anyone that knew him accepted his dog-haired car and the fact they would be with him. Alan is survived by his wife Serafina, sons, Jonathan and Jordan, dogs, Junebug and Winston. He will be laid to rest with full Military honors on March 14, 2018 in Riverside National Cemetery at 1:30pm. A Celebration will follow at the American Legion Post 79 Riverside 2:30-4:30pm.

Alan, the world will sadly miss you and your wonderful smile… I will think of you often with fond memories when we were able to get together at family events. Sara, you and the boys are in my prayers. My heart hurts for you.
Love, Sharon

Sarafina I do not have the words to sufficiently describe my sorrow with the passing of your husband and my friend and Brother Alan Dean Clow. I cried my eyes out in my office at Harbor Court. You both are my friend and I will always remember with great fondness our time with one another. I always call Alan “The Chief Investigator” because of my respect for him. He always laughed at the stupid antics of the Shitbird Investigator, that would be me, and I love him for it. I miss you Alan Dean Clow, but one day we’ll see each other on the other side.
Sarafina I love you and Alan and we will miss him terribly.
With great affection,
David Marston
