Gentle | Enthusiastic | Steadfast

Knowing from a young age that she wanted to work with dying and grieving people, Karla spent 10 years as a nursing assistant. After the loss of a friend, her interest in funeral service led her to learning about the local Mortuary Science school. As a member of our Care Center team, Karla feels deeply passionate about her work and the healing, significant moments it gives.

Karla loves sports but no team has her heart like the Lakers. She is also deeply interested in music, enjoys quiet time at the beach, and is obsessed with her little Corgi, Luna. Her favorite quote comes, fittingly, from her favorite person, Kobe Bryant: “The most important thing is to try and inspire people so that they can be great in whatever they want to do.”
