When she first heard about a career in Mortuary Science, Jenn felt a deep, heart-connection to that calling. She found it to be a perfect fusion of her interests in art, science, medicine, and a desire to care for and serve people. She graduated with her degree in May of 2022.

Her connection to O’Connor came about through her family’s need of a funeral home. The experiences that her and her husband’s families had with us convinced Jenn that this was the right place for her. She cares deeply about showing up for people in her community in difficult times and knew a career here would echo that.

Jenn’s free time is spent with her husband supporting their children’s sports interests and taking care of her cat and pet snake. Some of her hobbies include reading, creating with various art mediums, catching a good documentary, and baking.

Her personal philosophy comes from something her grandmother recited to her over and over, “Cherish the moment.” Working in the funeral profession brings home the importance of truly valuing every moment we are given and is something Jenn always tries to be mindful of.
