Erica has been interested by the death-care profession since a young age. She responded to the call by enrolling in the Mortuary Science department at Cypress College and touring as many mortuaries as she could. Here’s what she said about meeting us for the first time, “I felt differently from the moment I was greeted at O’Connor. I felt such a sincere and welcoming attitude from everyone.” It was meant to be. Her passion for funeral service is fueled by the opportunity to plan a meaningful and healing event that honors the life of those we are serving.

A native to West Virginia, she misses the slow paced small town feel she knows and loves. It wasn’t until she moved to California in 2013 that she realized how much she loved and missed things like rainy days and the silent winter nights. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her son Benny doing just about anything and the simple things like cuddling to watch a movie. Erica is married and is looking forward to making more great memories with her family.
