Priority Filing Fee — $350
This is a basic fee that we charge every family for our professional service in assisting them with their preferences. It includes a proportionate share of our overhead required to serve the public. Our charge includes but is not limited to consultation with the family, administrative and clerical services, preparation of the death certificate for certification of the attending physician or coroner, consultation with cemetery or common carrier, our availability 24 hours a day to bring your loved one into our care at O’Connor Mortuary – Laguna Hills and to answer questions you may have. This fee also includes placement of obituary notices on-line at www.oconnormortuary.com. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee for our basic services and overhead is already included in our charges for direct cremation, direct burial, forwarding remains and receiving remains).

Professional Care
(All professional care is performed at O’Connor Mortuary)

- Post Autopsy or other Restorative Care - $385
- Refrigeration and Care for your loved one while at our facility - $895
- Custodial Care - After 7 days, $50 per day
- Use of Care Center for Medical or Ceremonial Purposes (2 Hour Maximum) - $490
Automotive Equipment Within the Local Area

Graveside Ceremony (Only)

Professional Embalming
$595
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as a direct cremation or immediate burial. Embalming will be performed at O’Connor Mortuary – Laguna Hills.
Advance Plan Contract Inflation Guarantee: At O’Connor Mortuary, our families who choose to plan their services in advance lock in their Service, Facility and Equipment fees until the time of need. Our advance plan contracts include a 6% fee not reflected in the service fees above to help offset and cover inflation that will occur over time.
