What makes O’Connor Mortuary unique when it comes to cremation services?
Higher Standards: Our family philosophy is to set standards that exceed the state requirements and those of other cremation providers. We require all of our families to provide a recent color photograph for a positive means of identification of a loved one.
Our Crematory and Our Care: We own and operate our own crematory at our Laguna Hills facility for the exclusive use of the families we serve. Once your loved one is in our care, they remain in the sanctity of our facility until the urn is returned to the family or delivered to the service location. Please Note: It may be necessary to use a third party cremation provider when the O’Connor Mortuary crematory is not operating due to repairs or the cremation does not meet the operational parameters of the equipment.
Direct Cremation

Includes adjusted administrative and professional services of the funeral director and staff, transfer of your loved one to O’Connor Mortuary – Laguna Hills, refrigeration, use of our crematory for cremation, processing of the cremated remains. This charge does not include memorial products, use of our facilities, equipment and staff for viewing and/or service or cash advance items.
If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard, or composite materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are cardboard and fiberboard.
