Listening, skilled communication and empathic connection are essential skills for our Arrangement team

Care Center
Perhaps our most specialized role at O’Connor is the skill set of the embalmers on our Care Center team. This unique team consistently plays a transformative role in a family’s farewell experience. The peace that families feel after seeing their loved one at rest, and looking like themselves is a gift that stays with them.
Our program hires apprentices and embalmers who have completed their apprenticeships.
Clerical Administration
Our Clerical Administrative team is often the first voice families hear from O’Connor. From the initial phone call to filing death certificates, the Clerical Admin team works alongside our families every step of the way. This is a dynamic department despite being paperwork driven, this job is never dull. The energy and force of this team makes everything we do possible.
Our Clerical Administrative staff works closely with doctors, government agencies and families to ensure paperwork is filed accurately and on time. This role requires flexibility, courtesy and a desire to be helpful. This department is dynamic and works to support the daily flow of calls, schedules, and family needs.

Care Coordination
The role of Care Coordinators is a task-driven job that cares for our families by attending to the details and behind-the-scenes movements of our team. The work of this team is felt by everyone on our staff. The Care Coordinators are integral to ensuring our services and team are clear, poised, and ready to give families the best experience we can give them.
Service Staff
Our Service Staff leaves the final impression on the families we serve. Their presence creates comfort and guidance for families in the most difficult moments. Our Service team is hands-on, making sure details are in place, the family and guests are cared for, and the ceremony goes smoothly. This team is the final impression and opportunity that we have to demonstrate our professionalism, compassion, and care.
