Obituary
Wyatt Bradigan Eddy
12/5/06 – 9/29/21
Forever in our Hearts
Wyatt Bradigan Eddy, 14, of Torrance CA – beloved son of David and Wendy Eddy, and brother of Wade Eddy, lost his life 9/29/21 as a result of a tragic surfing accident.
Wyatt was a gamer, a surfer, a fanciful tinkerer with all manner of things electronic and robotic, a star student, a loving son, a fantastic nephew and grandson, and a fierce and loyal champion of his brother. His smile lit up any room he was in, and his laugh was infectious. He was, invariably, the life of any party.
Wyatt’s organs were donated on his passing so that, even in his death, he might bring joy and heart and love to those around him.
He will be dearly missed. He left too soon. His light was too large for this world to contain.
In lieu of any flowers or gifts, his family would love to encourage any interested parties to give back to those that gave so much to them in their time of need:
- The wonderful surgeons, nurses, and support staff at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County:

- The life-saving work of the team at One Legacy, who go to ensure that one life’s tragic end can result in the miraculous renewal and continuation of another:

A further announcement to follow about a commemorative paddle-out event in Wyatt’s honor.

Can you believe it’s been two months? I can’t. I wish that time didn’t move so fast. I still think about you a lot. You don’t know me, and I never really knew you either, but I’ve been thinking a lot about you for the past few months. I’ve worn the wristband every day since. I never met you, but I’m going to remember and think about you for the rest of my life. I appreciate you, and thanks for being a good person.
